This year marks thirteen years since Strategic Income Group began.

As I reflect on that journey, the word that rises above all others is gratitude.

Thirteen years ago, we stepped out in faith with a clear conviction: if we built a firm rooted in fiduciary responsibility, disciplined strategy, and a deep commitment to stewardship, the right families would choose to walk alongside us. Within the first 90 days of launching, more than 90% of the families we had originally served chose to continue the journey with us. That trust shaped our foundation—and it continues to define who we are today.

Our mission has always been simple: to help you live your best life and leave a lasting legacy.

That mission goes far beyond portfolio returns. It includes thoughtful retirement income planning, tax-efficient strategies, intentional generosity, business succession, and multi-generational family conversations. It means helping you make wise decisions not just for today, but for decades to come.

Since our founding, Strategic Income Group has grown steadily and consistently—nearly ninefold—representing approximately 20% compounded annual growth over the past decade. But growth has never been the goal. Faithful stewardship has been the goal. Growth has simply been the byproduct of doing the right things consistently over long periods of time.

More important than numbers is what that growth represents: families gaining clarity, transitions handled wisely, charitable impact expanding, and financial plans aligned with deeper life purpose.

This past year has been one of refinement.

We have continued to elevate our planning process around the Three Phases of Wealth framework to ensure every client benefits from a consistent, proactive, and disciplined approach. We have enhanced meeting structures, clarified service standards, and strengthened collaboration across our offices. Our focus remains on pursuing excellence—not occasionally, but consistently—on your behalf.

Our team deserves tremendous credit.

Over the years, some teammates have completed their season with SIG and moved on to new opportunities. We are grateful for their contributions and the impact they made during their time with us. At the same time, we have welcomed exceptional new professionals who have strengthened our depth, sharpened our execution, and elevated our standards even further. Healthy evolution is part of building a lasting institution, and today our team is stronger, more aligned, and more focused than ever.

Excellence is not an event. It is a discipline. And it requires intentional investment.

We have invested heavily in infrastructure, security, and technology to enhance your experience. This includes integrating advanced systems and incorporating artificial intelligence tools to improve efficiency, strengthen research capabilities, streamline communication, and reduce administrative friction. Technology will never replace personal relationships, but it allows us to serve you more accurately, more securely, and more proactively. Our goal is simple: spend less time on paperwork and more time helping you think strategically about your life, your family, and your legacy.

At the same time, we remain vigilant in monitoring economic conditions and market developments. Our investment committee continues to meet regularly, evaluate macroeconomic trends, assess interest rate policy, analyze equity and private market opportunities, and stress-test portfolio positioning. Markets evolve. Headlines change. Strategies must adapt. But our principles—discipline, diversification, long-term thinking, and tax awareness—remain steady.

Looking forward, the next chapter of Strategic Income Group is not about becoming the largest firm. It is about becoming better.

    Keri Alcos joins Strategic Income Group as a seasoned associate financial planner and licensed Medicare specialist with 20+ years in the financial services industry. Keri brings with her the Certified Wealth Strategist ® designation and she is also a Licensed Medicare Agent. Keri has significant expertise in managing investment portfolios and creating comprehensive financial plans for clients at large brokerage firms including, Charles Schwab & Company, Morgan Stanley, and USAA. She has a highly robust depth of knowledge in wealth management solutions, financial planning strategies, tax management, and Medicare health care solutions.

    As a former collegiate athlete, Keri has a passion for health and loves educating and helping others with Medicare solutions tailored to their unique health needs and wellness preferences. She was born in Southern California and graduated from the University of Cal State Long Beach with a BA in Psychology. Keri has been married to her wonderful husband Michael for almost 7 years, who retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. As a blended family, they have four amazing children: Dylan (21), Katelyn (17), Ian (13) and Ella (5).
