Our Purpose in Investment Selection

At Strategic Income Group (SIG), we are committed to helping clients steward their wealth in ways that reflect biblical values and Kingdom impact. We believe in building portfolios that are not only financially sound but also morally aligned.

We evaluate every potential investment through the lens of Avoid, Amplify, and Advance:

  • Avoid: Companies and managers that profit from or promote activities that contradict biblical values (e.g., abortion, pornography, DEI-driven activism).
  • Amplify: Investments that promote human flourishing, strong stewardship, and ethical business practices without contradicting Scripture.
  • Advance: Investment opportunities that actively further Kingdom impact—through faith-based entrepreneurship, redemptive business practices, or charitable integration.

Why This Application Matters

Important Note:

We do not utilize or implement annuities in any client portfolios. Please do not submit annuity-based products or strategies, as they will not be considered.

Our Manager Due Diligence Process

At SIG, we host a formal Investment Manager Meeting every 90 days, a process we’ve conducted since 2008. This allows us to:
    • Review 8–10 investment managers per quarter
    • Invite both new and existing managers to present their strategy, values alignment, and performance
    • Ask critical questions in a live format to understand the integrity and purpose behind each offering
    • Foster competition, transparency, and stewardship in our manager selection process
    • Allow clients and internal team members to attend and observe our due diligence firsthand

Managers selected through this application may be invited to present at one of these quarterly events.

What We’re Looking For

We are open to a wide range of investment solutions, provided they do not contradict biblical values and preferably amplify or advance Kingdom-aligned impact.

Acceptable Investment Types:

  • Publicly traded stocks and bonds
  • Private Credit and Private Equity
  • Private Real Estate and Real Assets
  • Venture and Hedge Strategies

Acceptable Vehicles:

  • ETFs
  • Traditional Mutual Funds
  • Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs)
  • Private Placement Sub-Docs
  • Direct Investment Offerings

We look for strong alignment not just in performance, but in purpose, structure, and values.

    Keri Alcos joins Strategic Income Group as a seasoned associate financial planner and licensed Medicare specialist with 20+ years in the financial services industry. Keri brings with her the Certified Wealth Strategist ® designation and she is also a Licensed Medicare Agent. Keri has significant expertise in managing investment portfolios and creating comprehensive financial plans for clients at large brokerage firms including, Charles Schwab & Company, Morgan Stanley, and USAA. She has a highly robust depth of knowledge in wealth management solutions, financial planning strategies, tax management, and Medicare health care solutions.

    As a former collegiate athlete, Keri has a passion for health and loves educating and helping others with Medicare solutions tailored to their unique health needs and wellness preferences. She was born in Southern California and graduated from the University of Cal State Long Beach with a BA in Psychology. Keri has been married to her wonderful husband Michael for almost 7 years, who retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. As a blended family, they have four amazing children: Dylan (21), Katelyn (17), Ian (13) and Ella (5).
